Timor-Leste and Her Problem

From the size of the country, any body can say that..this is second smallest country in asia after singapore yet her problem is not as small as hers size. The Political drama is to complex and yet to complicated. Perhaps...it's start long before Timo-Leste( TL) got independence and carried away until today. So i don't know...who is white and black...

Last week on 11 of January 2008, TL president was shotted with bullet but luckly he survived the assasination and currently undergoes treatment in Darwin Hospital, wheares Mr. Prime Minister escape the assination without any injured.

What acctually happen??

For me I think Mr. Alfredo Reinaldo and Mr. President were trapped. A third person may have told Alfredo to come down to meet President without President realized. So when he(Alfredo) arrive at the residence of president, he was faced with gun firing and he died on the spot. Wheareas Mr. President was out of his house(Jogging in morning) and when he came back from jogging, a bullet hit twice his body.

Strange thing is Alfredo and Mr. President always meet each other per month in Alfredo's camp to discuss how to solve problem without create violence, and if Alfredo really want to kill President he would have done without come down to capital. The other strange thing is, by the time President hitted by bullet, Alfredo and his men already died so how come Alfredo shoot president if he already died?

Now to add more strange thing is...the current goverment refuse to set-up independent inquiry and just want to wait FBI & Police invistigation...

So who is real actor here....and who is third person here....guess what even small kid can answers this question.

Gone with the wind

Last week on 27 January 2008, one of the most powerful military man passed away. That is Pak Harto. Just like every leader in the world, they will be evaluate when passed away. so let's evaluate him....

Achievements....

1. According to west, he was credited for destroy Communist from Indonesia and eventually knock-out communist from all the region.

2. He was credited for setting up ASEAN.

3. During one period of his era, Indonesia able to export rice and eventually won prize from WHO.

4. Extremist, Fundamentalist & terorists never heard

5. Keep the state secular even though it has majority of muslims in the world

6. Defender of "Pancasila" and "Bhineka-Tunggal Ika"

7. And more....

Failure

1. Worst human rights record.

2.Killing his own people. eg: Timor-Timor(now Timor-Leste), Aceh, Irian-Jaya, Maluku and etc.

3.Corruption & nepotisme flourish everywhere

4. No freedom of expression(only got 3 partys in whole country)

5. And more....

We forgive you but never forget what you have done...
